Our 3D Film Mart (3DFM) is now in its 3rd edition. It is an international co-production market for stereoscopic-3D (S-3D) contents, primarily for movies for cinema (theatrical) and TV (broadcast).

3DFM was launched in 2011 under the sponsorship of the MEDIA Program of the European Commission, which provided partial financial support for the first two years. In the first two years of the market, over 90 projects were submitted, for a total budget of about 440,000,000 €. As in previous years, it is organized in collaboration with peacefulfish. 3DFM is the world's only international co-production market fully dedicated to S-3D projects!

3DFM works as follows. Eligible producers (see Regulations) submit projects that are at an early stage of development and already have 20% of the financing secured. A Pre-selection Committee selects about 20 of these projects. Their producers then pitch their projects to a panel of about 10 investors, financiers, sales agents, co-producers,... Then, it is up to producers to strike deals with potential investors, etc.

The Best Project & Pitch Award will be given out during our Awards Ceremony, which will take place during the evening of 6 December.

An announcement about 3DFM will be made at Festival de Cannes on 16 May.
